When I get an an email notifying me of 'Smart Matches' for, as an example, "John E.," I get several hundred trees containing names such as "Jonahan," etc., however the dates aren't even close. If I have a "John E." born in Dec 1898, then I want that or something close.
Your matches require me to wade through hundreds of names that are not even close. You need to work on your program to refine the matches down to about 2-5% of those being 'matched' right now. At this time, the 'Smart Matches' are useless to me. I do not have the time to wade through hundreds of names for thousands of family members.
This is what I would also like to see. I would like the little icon to disappear once I have checked the smart matches for that person until there are more matches then the icon can come back.That way you are not doing everything several times when checking the matches.
