How to move/fix existing branches

Hi,

I just realsed that some grand children in a family branch should've been children instead (and not grand children).

How can I move those children with their existing spouces to the correct upper level? It would be great if there is a drag/drop functionality where I can move those grand children one level up the tree.

 Any help is appreciated

Regards

Goto the child you want to move

Click EDIT -> PARENTS -> DETACH FROM PARENTS

(The child and their descendants will then be orphaned)

Click EDIT -> PARENTS -> ATTACH PARENTS and select the correct parents from the list displayed

Martin

How to move/fix existing branches [2]

Hi,

I would like to change the father of my dad. He was born from an unmarried couple and then my grandma married his current husband and had 2 children.  Right now, I can only set one father for the 3 of them.  I see your answer to:

Goto the child you want to move

Click EDIT -> PARENTS -> DETACH FROM PARENTS

(The child and their descendants will then be orphaned)

Click EDIT -> PARENTS -> ATTACH PARENTS and select the correct parents from the list displayed

but i can't find the "PARENTS" option in the edit box

 Hope you can help me.

 Cheers,

Silvana
