Most families have many stories about their family ranging from things that hapenned when a person was younger to funny things that happened later in life. In any case these stories provide a richer family history that should be preserved.
Currently the only way to capture this information is to type it into a document and upload it or create a note. I think it would be a good idea to create a way to add these stories. It would be useful to be able to record who told the story, who recorded and link or tag it to the person who told it or it is about.
A memory book does sound simular to what I was thinking about. That should allow me to write down the stories that family members have told about themselves and others.
I was not aware of the Memories feature, that could be very useful. It that also available through the Family Tree Builder software?
I have our family history in eight chapters plus introduction, addenda and appendices with lots and lots of pictures uploaded to our myHeritage website as attachments to articles in PDF format. This can be done under the App function-Articles. Most are public and can be reached from our home page. You are welcome to take a look on our website (Munch Family History Site). If this is what you are looking for, I'll be glad to help if you need it. You should, however, upgrade to premium plus to do this if you have a lot of stories, because you will need the unlimited storage. This capability is the main and foremost reason I stay with myHeritage.
