I am trying to the change the default portrait of a person on my tree. I mistakenly put the wrong photo attached to a person. How can I repair the error.

Hi, In order to change an existing personal picture from all the photos that you have tagged for someone, go into Photos > Tag People. Then choose the photo that you would like to be that person’s personal photo, hover over that photo and click on the grey icon on the right. The personal photo will then be shown with a blue icon on the top right. Best Regards, Esther

I have tried what you suggested, but it still would not remove the wrong photo that I have placed for a particular individual.

All I am trying to do is replace the photo in the tree with another one.

Hi

The way I found to do it was to click on the 'Photo' button on the tree veiw of the individual you what to change.

You should see all the photos associated with that individual.

Click on the picture you want to use as the personal picture and then click the 'Edit' button above

Click the 'Associations' Tab at the top and then click on the individuals name from the list on the right (There may only  be one)

Click the 'Personal Photo' check box  then click 'OK' at the bottom

And that should do it.

Best regards

 Martin
