HOT-MATCH DELETIONS
Michael CAVANAGH
- Close
Of nine pages of HMs only the first three are valid with confirmed/pending matches. The remainder have been rejected and show a '0' accordingly. I wish to delete these in total, how do I achieve please?   Grateful

Another option would be to go in, "unconfirm" the match, then ignore the tree. I have found that often when I unconfirm a match in order to do that it has disappeared anyway, don't know why.

We still don't have the option to delete unwanted matches.  There is a reason behind it though. In many cases a rejected match could become relevant again at a later stage in your research. I just talked with a MyHeritage.com member the other day who helps us with bug reports and he mentioned that this happens to him quite often. So... What we have done is allowed you to "Ignore" matches. That is, you don't get rid of them completely in case you need them again at a later date, but you can ignore them so you won't see them every time you view matches.  The ignored matches are saved in your matches list but they aren't presented to you as part of your regular matches anymore. I hope this information helps you. If you have more questions, let me know.

Appreciated Jaiel, understood and thank you for your action here. There is only a tiny chance that any rejection would prove later in view of the Nationalities involved I suspect but, I accept the Administrative protocols regarding as outlined. Grateful your time and action again!
