I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
In order to change your browser home page, go to Tools > Options / Internet Options (both on Internet Explorer and Firefox) and there you will have to option to change the homepage.
Fore more information, take a look at the following FAQ:
Please note that next time when you install Family Tree Builder, you can avoid this, by choosing Custom Install in the Setup Options page and turning off the change of homepage.

I had found that annoying too. It didn't take long to fix, but like the OP, I was 'pissed' that I had to fix it at all. It was a change you made without my knowledge or consent and IMO is damned poor customer relations.
As another poster wrote, "I'm not impressed, however, with discovering after installing the update that you'd hijacked my browser home page and replaced it with your own. That kind of stuff makes me wary of using your software for fear that you feel free to mess with other parts of my computer as well. "
My suggestion is to have the default for that option set to OFF in the standard install. At the very least, include a notice that it is an option and allow me to turn it off in the standard installation.
Thanks for your reply. Original post was a year ago, which was plenty of time to have incorporated the suggestion in V7.0. Perhaps the issue no longer applies in that version. I'll find out as soon as I can get 7.0 to download and run.
