I have tried to get it to work with several different names using Firefox and IE. So far it has found nothing, even running for an hour!

At this point in time, the online research tool only works in Internet Explorer and not in other internet browsers.
Can you please make sure that you have the latest version of Activex installed, and try again in Internet Explorer?
