Sosa Stradonitz number

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to:

- Change "who I am" in my tree. (when I created the tree for the first time, I created another tree than mine, now that mine is also there it always shows the other one first because it's suppose to be "me").

- Doing so, I realised that I do not see the Sosa numbers? Is there a way to define the Sosa-Stradonitz #1, the have the Sosa numbers displayed easily?

- I'm surprised that when I create the parent of somebody who died 300 years ago, I still have to click "Deceased". Is there a way to default to "Dead" if say they are ascendent of somebody who  was born aver a 100 years?

Thanks for your help.

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

I'll answer here, just in case.

Please see the following FAQ on how to associate yourself in the family tree:

How do I associate myself to the family tree on my site?

We don't have Sosa numbers in MyHeritage, you can view the relationship between you and any person in your family tree by clicking on the person in your tree (the relationship will be displayed on the left side of the screen).

You can also display the relationships between you and the individuals in your tree by creating family reports.

Regarding the "mark as deceased" issue – If you edit a person's birth date that was 120 years ago or more – the person will be automatically marked as deceased.

In the Family Tree Builder you also have a "Check Foe Deceased People" feature, which allows you to automatically mark all the ancestors of a deceased person as deceased for example.

Best regards,

Shani
