I see for basic subscribers (lots of moikreni and dynastree subscribers) this disables email contact with members you have never contacted before. So for someone to contact me about a smartmatch, they have to be a paying member. They have to pay myheritage to see my data. Looks like I will be turning smart matching off...
It is weird. As a basic subscriber we are allowed to copy another members data, but we cannot contact them?
1. We don't have the option of smartmatching to work between trees in the same site.
2. This Smart Matches feature of contacting users about the matches was created for the paying users.
You are subscribed as a paying member, and as one, you can contact the basic users that you find through the smartmatches first, and establish the contact between you.
They will be able to reply to you.
You also can add them as members to your sit.
3. A basic user can't enter your site, just view the match.
Actually I am a Basic subscriber (Moikrewni/Dynastree transfer so I have unlimited tree and 2.5GB space).Before the new enhanced smart match I was able to use contact user.Now with the new release I cannot.Fair enough though, I knew that my account only includes basic smart matches, and that changes were coming. The same way my account is not ad free.There are no ads now, but I suspect they are forthcoming.
