Please place the emphasis for developing mobile apps on Android i.s.o iPhone as Android now seems to be more used - and it supports most as the technologies that Myheritage is built upon
Is there any way to export my android My Heritage tree into my Online Web Sites tree? I put alot of work into that tree and I don't want to lose it.
Besides the only time I can get more information on my family is when I'm visiting my family and i'm not near a computer. So adding info to my mobile device is far more effective than bringing a computer.
****EDIT**** I noticed the app I have is not created by your company. Its made a developer named "Poid Song" I can probably assume this dev is responsible to a good portion of people who found your service because of this app. It may be benificial to collaborate with this person to help increase your "installed base" on the android platform.Just a thought. Sorry for the misconception.
I am not familiar with this specific app, thanks for letting us know about it!
If you can export a gedcom file from this application, you can easily import it to our website or client.
You will be happy to hear that we are improving our own mobile applications all the time, and soon you will be able to user one which was really made by us :)
The new app for Android works ok on phones, but is a little anoying on tablets. Some of the menus is hardcoded in portrett mode and does not respond to turning the tablet into landscape. It should not be to hard to code an updated UI when the resolution is higher, but at least read the direction and resolution info for all of the UI.
When we are in the editing part of the app it behaves nice and the tree display is better than the web-interface.
