I have tried to send a mail to the My Heritage Team, twice, but no reply, so now I try here!

In Smart Match, the button to Merge, has turned grey, and can not be used.

I'm a PremiumPlus user.

Can anyone help me???

Tomorrow I'm on my 3. month without Smart Match.

That is not what I expected with my PremiumPlus account.

And still no answer from "My Heritage Team"!

I have the same issue. I hope it is resolved soon. You would think with as much money as we spent to be premium members, that we would have unlimited.

There's a limit to how many smart searches you can do, even with a Premium account?  Am I understanding this correctly?  Makes me wonder why I spent the money to upgrade.

Looking forward to an answer or explanation.

Thanks

Hi Johnny,

Thank you for writing to us.

we currently have a limitation on the number of merges that can be done in each tree.

We are looking at the matter and we will let you know shortly.

Best Regards,

Esther / MyHeritage Team

Thanks for acknowledging it is a software issue.  If it helps, I have this problem also and here is what I tried (unsuccessfully).

I did a complete uninstall including removal of all FTB files in the Program Files (x86) and Program Data directories.  I renamed the MyHeritage directory. Then tried a fresh install of the latest version and started it to create the myHeritage directory.  Then I closed FTB and copied my .zed file into C:\...\MyHeritage\Nishimura\database\Nishimura.zed.  I then restarted the program and opened the project.  I am still not able to merge even from a site that I am a member of.

Let me know if I can help by running some test cases as a Premium user, or if you want someone to test a patch or revision prior to general release.

I must have recently hit my smart matching limit.  It would have been nice to know that there even was a limit in the first place.  I would have considered this when deciding whether or not to upgrade to a PremiumPlus account.  I've also wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what was going on through the forum.

Very, very disappointed.

Hi My heritage team

I now have the "merge" function greyed out.

Is the problem solved?

Will you please help me solve the problem ASAP?

 All the best

Hi Dorthe,

Thank you for writing to us.

You can solve this problem by downloading the newest version of the Family Tree Builder from the site:

Apparently there is a limit to the amount of merges you can make.  It would have been nice to know this in advance, right?

Sorry I wasn't able to help fix the problem, but at least you know what the problem actually is.

Take care,

Amber
