Hi all, I have managed to put a whole line of my family with the patriarch attached to the wrong parents. When I try breaking the connection it works fine but when I try to reconnect to the correct parents it will only connect to one parent. How can I make it connect to both parents? All help appreciated - I really do not want to type in all the dat again!
I have Mary Augusta, Ann Wilberforce & Agnes who are all daughters of Rev John Bell and his wife, Mary Augusta Collinson. I can get 2 of the sistrs where they should be but not all 3 together. I now have another problem - my computer seems only to save my family tree as a .zed format and I have no idea how to change this.
Right click the person to whom you want to add the parents. Go to the parents tab and click on 'attach parents'. Find the parents you want to add and that will add both parents to that person; not just one
