I am glad somebody else noticed and is annoyed with this problem, although yours is much closer to 'home' than mine. I complained and the reason I got in the reply was the inability to do 3-dimensional lines of descent. I think that means that, if you are descended from more than one sibling, only the line of one can be properly identified and the others will be designated 'relatives'--but the spouses of the siblings will be properly identified as direct ancestors!--go figure!! With all the cousin (and uncle-niece) marriages that took place over the centuries and are still taking place, one would think this should be fixed. I have certainly requested it.
