Set default view of Family Tree?

I'd like for my MyHeritage family tree to be viewed in classic mode. I set it up, and every time I go back and open it, it's in modern mode. Is there a way to set the view so that it automatically opens to classic?

Hi Judith,

In order to get more technical information on the problem, please open a browser window and go to the following URL:

http://www.myheritage.com/Utility/cookie-dump.php

Next send an email to support at support@myheritage.com and include the content of the page in the email.

Mention in the email the nature of the problem (it might help to include a link to the forum post: http://www.myheritage.com/support-post-379761/set-default-view-family-tree in that email as well).

I ask you to NOT post the content of the page to the forum as this is your own private information and you don't want it to appear on the forum.

Once we get this information, we will be able to understand the sort of configuration you are in.

Hi Judith,

Your browser should store a cookie with your preferance regarding the tree view,

If it doesn't it might have been set to block cookies.

which browser are you using?

I wonder if this issue is related to mine whereby the site is not keeping some other settings under Home Page, Other, Family Tree Root person?

I can sign out and back in on the same day and see that the settings remain, but the next day when I sign in, they have changed.

Could this be happening with the modern vs classic--they may remain the same on a given day, but the next day (after perhaps rebooting the computer, removing browser cache, etc, they change back.

I just tested this by putting in classic mode, then exiting the site and then going back to the site and to the tree, and I was still in classic. I thought that's what had been happening, but I tested it to make sure. I do find it odd the way they differentiate between the two modes. The "modern" view is what I would call the "classic" family tree view and vice versa.
