Date Wrong

When I am on my web page the calender on the right has a green box around the 8th.--today is the 7th.

My computer shows the 7th and correct time for the eastern time zone.

Am I missing something? Misunderstading? Losing my mind?

Any help will be helpful, thanks.

Hi Les,

Thank you for writing to us.

We are sorry, but the date on our site is set according to our servers, that are located in Texas. We understand that this causes some discrepancies in dates on the site, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

Esther / MyHeritage Team

I was looking at my upcoming events on my site and I notice some of them that has the date set to tomorrow, the site says "(today!)". It is about 7:00 Central, which Texas is Central as well. Why does it say today when it is actually tomorrow, even where you said your servers are in Texas? Does the servers dates need to be reset to be the correct dates?

Hi Adam,

Thank you for writing to us.

Just to clarify, you are saying that the events showed in your newsfeed on your homepage as being a day early?

This seems to be a timezone problem. I am not sure which time zone the newfeed works from.

We will investigate this bug, and let you know when we have more information regarding this issue.

Best Regards, Esther / MyHeritage Team
