Family Book - Forums

I am able to create a family book, but the pdf will not open either in this site ( an error msg appears) or the e-mailed version (an error msg saying that the document cannot be found).

This is a beautiful function and I would love to get it to work. Thanks.

Dear Helle,

Thanks for contacing us.

In order to create the Family Book, please login to the website and navigate to Family Tree > Chars & Books.

There you will find an option to create the Family Book.

Hi again -

When I navigate to "Family tree" there's no "Charts and books" section. There's a "Print charts and books" section, but I don't find an option to create a Family Book there.....

Hi Helle,

I am wondering - are you trying to create the report when your language is set to Danish?

If so, then you will not be able to create a Family Book since it is not available in Danish.

Try changing the language settings of the website to English and then check if the Family Book works.

Hi -

I've tried changing the language to english, and now the Family Book option have appeared, BUT when I choose the Family Book option, my choice changes to Close Family, and the Family Book option disappears! If I refresh the page, the Family Book option appears again, but I can still not choose it.....
