whole family tree deleted. - Forums

true... i didn't log in for 6 months but i spent 3 years getting family history and just checked in the other day and it's back down to me and my parents. that's all.

WHAT THE DEUCE?! I FEEL LIKE I OUGHTTA SUE SOMEONE!!!

I am shown that you have 2 Family Sites registered under this email address,

both with very small trees.

We never delete data, unless being asked to by the site manager,

so I would like to try and help you find the lost tree.

Is it possible that you have another family site registered under a different email address?

do you have an email we sent you in the past regarding this family site?

if you don't want to post the email address in the forums,

you can write to me at support(at)myheritage(dot)com,

and I will answer you over email.

how do i access this alleged 2nd family site? maybe same of what i have is there...

In order to help you find the site,

I will need your other email address,

or the site's address,

or an email address of a member of that site.

Is it possible that you built that tree using our program, Family Tree Builder?

Unfortunately you did not sign up with any of those addresses.

It is not that I don't believe you, I need some identification to find the site in our database.

Perhaps you remember the Family Site's name?

Did you save an email you received from us regarding that site?

Is it possible that you built the tree on your computer, using Family Tree Builder?

is so, it will be in My Documents \ My Heritage \ (your project name)

the site's name was simply "nigh" (the version existing now, only having me and my parents is the one that i'm pretty sure everything was deleted from. i had it going back 5 or 6 generations. not a small feat for my family)..

unfortunately, it was about 2 computers ago.

i thought you said there were 2...

I went through all of the Family Sites named night,

which are registered under James Night,

but could find only the two I've mentioned before:

Do you remember if you built the site online, or in our program, Family Tree Builder?
