I have a HUGE problem. I have two people listed as maried (and there are number of children and grandchildren entered already) but it turned out that actually the father should be a different person of the same name. So If I could enter the correct marriage details and move the children to the new father, half of my problem would be solved. The other part would be to delete the "wrong" marriage - without deleting the wrong husband because his sister (and what follows him) flows into a different part of my tree. So basicly I would like to be able to do two things:
1) move all children to the correct father, and
2) remove the incorrect marriage (is there a way to break that marriage link?)
A bit complicated but seems I may have this problem in more places in my tree. Please let me know if there is a way of fixing this otherwise I may need to reenter information for hundreds of people and I am not up to it ....
I also need to make this type of rearrangement within my tree. One woman in my tree had FOUR husbands, which was not discovered until I had created the entire tree under one surname!
Where will I find this option when it becomes available. Or how soon is "coming soon"? :-)
I have the same situation, but it involves a Jr. and Sr. with same name. Another family member entered info incorrectly. Is this function now working? And where do I get the info on how to correct.
