My wife, Kara Antoni, is messed up. It's right on my home computer, but wrong on the website. Her parents are Ben Antoni and Pam Graham. Her real Dad died and mom remarried.
1) How to restore the link between Kara and her real parents on the web site?
2) Is there a way to add her new Dad (Pam Graham married David Cornell) in the family as her adopted father? When I try, it makes Pam Graham her mom twice because I have to add parents in sets, but I don't need to do that and I don't want to add her real mom as an adoptive mom.
You are using FTB. There is no problem provide (at local computer) any changes, in any situation, include specials and repairs. If is after republishing tree on web still wrong, i thing, best and simplest way is, delete whole tree on webpage, and then republish clearly from FTB. (Do not remember, for absolutly sureness, first backup or export.)
I'm sorry, I've been away. I finally was able to try the fix above but it doesn't work.
I don't know how to delete a tree, but I did delete my wife (Kara) and her immediate parents. Then I uploaded that version to the web site, and they were not there. Good. Then, I restored my backup and uploaded to the web site, and once again, my wife's parents are there, but they have no relationship to her. To repeat, her parents and their trees are present, but the relationship with her is broken.
