on my family site under my family tree and the manage tree there is no gedcom download option at the bottom of the page as shown inthe help section. Where else can i download the gedcom file?

When checking your account details, I can see that you are not a site manager of the the family site "patel Web Site" and this is why you are not allowed to download a GEDCOM file.
You have 2 options - either to ask the site manager to download the GEDCOM file and send it to you, or ask him to promote you to be a site manager. Thus, allowing you download the tree.
