Hi when I Publish from Treebuilder to websites, I have confirmation that Publishing was uccesful BUT

One of the trees does not have the updated info, have checked the settings and all looks correct.

So why should one web tree receive the info and the other does not????

Any help appreciated

Hi Kim,

 

I am shown that your Family Site Timoney has two Family Trees in it.

Perhaps this is causing confusion?

you can verify this in the Family Tree > Manage Trees page,

and also remove one of the trees by clicking on More > Delete tree.

Hi Noam

Thanks for quick response.

Yes I have the Treebuilder and then two web sites. as one of my members on one side of the family was getting confused.So I copied the side relating to that family on the new website.

What i dont understand is why should it say successful publish on both the web sites but it is NOT doing the updating   publish on the second tree.

You have 2 Family Sites,

Timoney Moorhouse Web Site - with one family tree published from FTB yesterday.

 

Timoney - with 2 family trees. One FTB tree published today, and one online tree.

In the Tree page, you can choose to switch between trees.

If you think there is some information missing from the published tree, please give me a specific example.

Hi

If you look in the Timoney/Moorhouse on both the builder and web site, you have Ellen O'Rourke

On the Timoney only web site she and others not appearing.

I can see her there.

Go to the People page,

look for her name, 

then click on 'show in tree'.

Look for 'Ellen' alone in the people page. 

you will get two results.

the second one will be Ellen Burke (born O'Rourke)

Sorry Noam

Had to suddenly disapper doh!!!

Well I found her listed eventually but why is she not showing on the tree when I click on either Honaria Burke/Timoney or Michael Timoney  honarias spouse there are no other members listed ie This ellen her husband and then honarias sister.

They all show on the timoney/Moorhouse but not here on the timoney tree. Doh!

Hi Noam

Have manged to get the names to show now in the tree.

I have just created a book for John Joseph Timoney which should have given me the details of his ancestors and again the Ellen O'Rourke and also Winifred Burke are not showing.

Can you explain why this should be?

Hi Kim,

 

When you generate a report, you have to make sure you choose the person from the right tree....

I highly recommend that you delete one of the trees from that Family Site,

or it will keep confusing you...
