I have to open a new thread regarding smart matches and disappearing of matches.
I read several threads about this issue and I am sorry to point out: This does not make sense to me at all.....
We were told, that smart matching will be recalculating every time we make some changes in the tree. Why does the match button shown up immediately the first time we enter a new person and this person matches to another tree? I guess matching is done on the fly as we enter the new person, isn't it?
Why should a match recalculate every time if we made changes in the tree on another person? This only makes sense if we change the details of this (matching) person and the person no longer really matches to another person. A recalculation every time does not make sense to me (as also your server load should be very high if this is the concept)
I am not a programmer. However, I don't get the point why smart matching has this long calculation time. As I understand, the code has "just" to compare the entries in a database. I have no idea, what your backend is, but is it really so difficult and time-consuming to compare a mySQL,PostgreSQL, MaxDB, etc. entry on the fly?
Again sorry, I don't wanna bother you. But I would like to catch this match up...
momentan werden die Smart Matches aktualisiert, daher kommt es derzeit zu solchen Missverständnissen. Bald wir dir das Smart Matching komplett und fehlerfrei zur Verfüfung stehen. Ich bitte um etwas Verständnis.
