I've noticed that siblings are ordered from left to right by order in which I enter them. I'd rather they be in birth order going left to right. In some cases I don't know the birth year but I do know birth order. I tried clicking and dragging but that doesn't work.
If this is NOT possible I recommend it to the developers.
We hear you! And your suggestions are very important to the betterment of MyHeritage.com.
It is great to learn that there are people out there who ask serious questions about MyHeritage and our products. It signifies to me that there are people who really use the system and that is gladdening.
Regarding your suggestion, we are aware of this annoying arrangement and it will be rectified in the near future.
*We're going to make some exciting changes to the site very soon, so keep your eyes out.
I am not able to get my other's siblings in the correct order of birth. I have the year of each one and I assumed it would put them in the right order but has not. What should I do??
I tried deleting the eldest and added again and it just added at end, after youngest.
Thank you for your response. I was working in the classic view, I will go back and try the modern view.
Also, do you recommend just doing Father's side on one site and then doing Mother's on another? I think that's where my trouble is..as my Mom's siblings are not in order because they are listed to the left of her name(she was not oldest)..so from her parents it starts with her and then the eldset on down ..if that makes any sense..thanks again
Once you move to the modern view, it does not matter which order you add in any of the siblings, as long as you have birth dates entered in for them. They will be sorted automatically.
It is really a matter of personal preference- how you enter the people into your tree :)
