I have some remarks about Family Pages localization in russian language.
First of all I have big troubles with inviting other members. When I invite my mom, for example, her name in the member list becomes unreadable. I worked a bit around this problem and understood, that while whole site uses UTF-8 encoding, my mother's name is in Western (ISO-8859-1) encoding. I suppose this happens because iniviting script convert name to ISO-8859-1 character encoding, or it's related to the database structure.
Also there is localization troubles between FTB and FP. While FTB displays names correctly, when I open My sites management window, I can't read normally the name of my site and the names of site members.
And two little bugs. First: moth names appears in english on my FP site, while they should be in russian (for example May instead Май). Second: at the bottom of the whole site, where language list is situated (near to copyright information), russian language shown as "русский", but more correctly is "Русский", with capital first letter.
At most multilingual internet sites russian language is presented as "Русский" or "Russian", with capital first letter. Even here, at myheritage.com, all other languages are with capital first letter. Why is here such unfairness to russian language?
And it's the least critical of all bugs I've described.
