I sent this site to my mother so she could see what I've been doing.
BUT
She followed the directions and clicked on the request membership link, signed up, and I still have not received the request for her to be able to look at my site. Nor has she received anything from this site.
On your family site, go to Activities > Addresses. Click on the "Invite New Members" link.
Use the manual invitation to enter your mother's email address and send her an invitation. When she clicks on the link in the invitation email she will automatically enter your family site and become a member.
You will then see her listed in your member's list in the Activities > Addresses page. If something goes wrong, you can always return there and re-invite her from this page on your family site.
I have invited five relatives no less than 50 times over the past five months to be members of the site. They never get the invitation. I invite them exactly how you describe that I should do so. Why are they not able to get their email invitation? Very frustrated.
It's possible that the email was blocked by your invitee's ISP or that the mail was accidentally filtered into the spam or junk mail folder.
A person you invite can easily get on the site even without receiving an invitation email.
They should go to MyHeritage.com, click on the Log In link and click Forgot your password. A new password will be generated which can then be used together with email address to log in.
I have almost the same problem as Jessi. I am waiting for an invitation fro membership but it never show up. And when I try to go to the page for whom I be waiting the invitation (This is where I'm suposed to see the request for membership), It´s not possible the request either. Ehat's wrong. I tried this at another page, and it´s no problem. The place for request show up at once...
