After I entered a family (husband/wife, almost a dozen children, and dozens of grand-children), I realized I had already added them in the database before. Now I have the same family in my database twice.
All of the entries contain new information, and so what I want to do is not DELETE the second entries for each member of the family, but actually merge them into one.
Am can't be the first person to have this problem...is there some way to merge two people into just one, like using the merge feature from other FTB users, but within my own database?
Unfortunately we don't have a tool that will allow you to merge two individuals in the tree at the moment.
We are, however, working on some improvements to the online tree editor and a function similar to what you need to do will become available in a future release.
