The site wants me to download a new version of Java, but the download page points to an old download not applicable for Snow Leopard (OS10.6)  I cannot get past this point in searches.  Is the site compatible with Mac OS 10.6?

Now Really  - I think it is time for you to address this Safari Issue......It has been a year for gods sake,.,,,

enter a name and then click on Search

A window appears with:

MyHeritage.com Research requires the Java plug-in from Sun Microsystems, inc.

Java is available on your computer, but its version is outdated and cannot be used.

Click OK below to be taken to the Sun site to install the most recent version of Java.

This is required just once, and only takes a few minutes.

After installing Java, return to MyHeritage.com and run your search again. 

Clicking "OK' on that window gives:

Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Release 1 provides support for J2SE 5.0 on Mac OS X 10.4. 

This error occurs with Safari. Firefox works fine.
