I just found out my problem regarding "Unknown" persons in my tree. Many was made in either one or another language.
I suggest that it should be possible to set an option where the input language is auto copied to one or more alternate languages. I enter in English (though my mother language is Danish) and since my close family spans danish and spanish speaking persons I would like to have my english input put into both the danish and spanish language data (maybe even more). Then when my family views the tree online persons are not called "Unknown" if I didnt add the name in several other languages manually.
Not all screans support multi language input so after adding data you have to go to all added persons to translate (and with names much is just copying).
I have used the translation feature and it works to some extend. Using that I would have to translate each time a new name comes into the system, but if it could be possible to do that as a default setting somewhere in FTB adding the entered data in all screens to the alternate (or if possible even more) languages as default.
Advantages:
1) You can see your tree in more languages
2) You do not have to chack all enties more than once when entering new data
3) You can (maybe?) still use the translation to overrule this default data at a later time
