To use the Smart Match Merge feature to merge individual matches, all that you have to do is to click on your matches and you should see the a box with the option to merge information from the other tree.
However, Smart Matches for trees do not allow whole trees to be merged. Trees are always kept separate and maintained and owned by their respective owners.
The ability to link trees will be supported soon, in the next release of our improved Smart Matching functionality. Please stay tuned for the next release!
I would love to know if the tree merging functionality is slated for a scheduled release yet.
Until then, any advice on how to get Smart Matches to return anything would be great. I have about 8 family members who have started little trees, and most of them overlap with what I have in my tree so far. However,for the last few weeks, all I see under Smart Matches is that there are no results. That just doesn't seem possible. So what am I/we doing wrong?
