May I suggest an extra data field where seperately a surname prefix can be entered.
This way all the surnames can be searched and indexed better.
In The Netherlands they use
van, van de, de (Piet van Veen)
In Belgium the same but they often use a capital with the prefix such as
Van, Van de, De (Piet Van Veen)
In Germany
von (Michelle von Klinkhamer)
In France and Spain
de, du, de la, (Juan de Austria)
Arabic
el, al (Muhammad al Jameel)
These are just examples and there are a lot of different surname prefixes. I believe Sweden has some and there are probably many I don't know of.
Historicaly people sometimes had a surname prefix but it got lost/dropped somewhere along the family line. If we can add the surname sufix to the database there are better search options for those concerned.
