I cant figure out how to delete the toolbar on my internet explorer. Help

I'm having problems with the toolbar, too. I uninstalled it but I can't redirect my browser (Firefox) away from myheritage.com's version of Google. I used to be able to enter keywords in the address bar but now I'm brought to their idea of a search engine. How do I go back to the way it used to be?

You can restore the default search in Firefox in this way:

Type About:config in the address bar

Click ok to advance

Type 'keyword' in the Filter

Right click on

Keyword.URL

And choose ‘Reset’

1. Do not open Internet Explorer. Make sure all browser Windows and other applications (including email) are closed.

2. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop

3. Choose 'Properties'

4. Click the 'Programs' tab

5. Click the 'Reset Web Settings' button

6. Click 'Apply'

7. Click 'OK'

I right clicked, and clicked properties but didn't find a programs tab. There's a SECURITY, DETAILS, PREVIOUS VERSIONS, GENERAL, SHORTCUT, and COMPATIBILITY tab. None of them have anything about resetting web settings.

go to Tools > Internet options,

then to the Programs tab,

and restore default internet settings.
