Cannot Publish!!!!

I changed my email address in my profile (I am the site admin) & then went through the steps through publishing> publishing settings etc, I can log in to the site but I can't publish anything. When I try it states 'bad username'.

I emailed support 2 days ago & have heard nothing. I tried using the 'Live support' but nothing happens there either.

 Can someone please help me rectify this?
