Hi, I'm new to this - just started today - and I'm having a problem when adding unmarried partners, it's automatically giving the females their partner's surnames and describing them as 'wife' - does anyone know how I can resolve this
(I'm checking 'none' in the box by the way not 'married')
Select the person who has the "Partner" cick on ADD, the options: Edit details, add son, add dougher, add brother, add sister or add partner comes up, choose add another partner.
When entering their name the third choise is a scroll down where you can choose: Married, Divorsed, Engaged or None. Choose NONE.
I'm having the same problem. I believe it's a bug in the software.
It's annoying because the reports are showing by brother's partner who is also the mother of his son as my sister-in-law. They never married, and she is now married to someone else. The home page side panel under the calendar keeps requesting the date of their marrage.
I've even tried listing them as separated.... and she still shows up as my sister-in-law.
