Trying viewing your Privacy settings,

under Tools > Internet options.

See that you are not blocking pop-up windows for Active-x

Is it possible that your firewall or Anti-virus program is blocking it?

HI Damian,

Sorry for the late response.

I want to make sure that your IE 8 settings are set correctly.

Let's try the following:

Please go into Internet Explorer on your computer.

Please click on Tools > Internet Options > under the security tab please click on the Trusted Sites icon, and click on 'Sites' to add a new trusted site> Add http://www.myheritage.com and http://www.myheritage.pl  to the list of trusted sites.

Then, while still in Trusted sites, click on Custom level > There you will see a number of options having to do with Activex. Make sure that they are enabled.

Now try downloading the ActiveX.

If this doesn't help please contact us at support@myheritage.com and we will investigate the problem further.

Best Regards,

Shachar
