How do I turn off the option that lets the program automatically send my members mails about calendet notifications. It bugs them a great deal, nad I risc to lose members due to all the mail they get.
Go to "settings" , (inställningar in Swedish),
Then go to "my preferences", (mina favoriter). There you can choose if you want the members to get updates and birthday reminders and so on. It's also possible for the members themselves to choose if they want to get these postings or not. They have to do it in the same way ("settings" and "my preferences"). I modified my welcome-text on the homepage to tell new (and old) members about how to fix this. Maybe an idea..

Currently the site webmaster can not make this choice for the members. Only members can choose for themselves if they want to receive calendar alerts or not. We've heard the request to give better control to webmasters in this area, and will consider adding a mechanism to set this option to all the members of the site simultaneously.
BTW, to get to the 'My Profile' page, you can click on the link directly from any page of the site. You don't need to go through the 'settings' area first.
