Can I ask which operating system and browser you are using?
Please check where Flash.exe is stored on your computer. Can you try saving it into the Internet Explorer or Firefox folder and see if that makes a difference?
I am using Windows XP Professional and Aol Browser, I have had no problem viewing the tree until about a week ago.
So I went to macromedia site to download the newest version of flash (Which I knew that I already had installed) and Reinstalled it.
I have no problem viewing other sites with flash content.
I have used the face recognition Tool and saved celeb morphs as well.
I hope this info helps
I have just clicked in to My Heritage from a search engine and the front page has flash which is fine, I right clicked on the image and the pop up menu told me all about flash 9.
The moment I signed in I couldn't get any flash content at all.
Did you get a chance to move Flash to either the IE or Firefox folder?
We think this may have to do with something on our site that checks if you have Flash when you visit the Immersive Tree. But it doesn't necessarily check, if say, Flash is located in Opera (if you happen to be running Opera) or other locations.
That would be the reason you are able to view the home page with no problem, but when you go to the Immersive Tree you get the message asking you to download Flash.
Let me know if there are any changes after completing this step.
Have been trying all sorts of different things to try and fix this problem , the only thing I have found is that if I access my tree through internet explorer I have no problem viewing it , I chose to use AOL as my service provider because I like the format for viewing the web. I guess I will have to put up with it, but I don't understand why I could view before but not now ,nothing has changed on my computer so I am really confused. Anyway thanks for your help
