ordering events

Ciao

in my site, events are not ordered by date. For example "residence" and "move" are in casual order.

Certainly. I think that there are many problem in FTB ordering Facts or Identifications.

For example, if I add an Identifications like Religions with no data, this is not in order but in the middle of other events The same thing occurs when the date is not a "single date" but for example a "period date". Is impossible to order it.

Other problem: in "edit Details" of a person, in folder "contacts", the only thing I have added is "email". This email appears via web with name "Residence" between other "facts".

Thanks

Alessandro

Try to give every fact a date in Family Tree Builder, and then click the sort by date button.

When you publish now, are the facts in order?

if not, please send me your GEDCOM file to noam@myheritage.com

As for the residence issue - we are aware of this bug, it will be fixed in the future.

Thank you for reporting,

Noam

The facts are in order only if I set a "single data".

If I set other type of data (or if I set no data) they are not in order.

I understand that when you put in 2004 - 2009 for example,

the program does not know how to sort it?

Could you send me your GEDCOM file please?

you can do so using the File > Export GEDCOM menu.

Send it to noam@myheritage.com

I don't know if the problem are the dates or same fact.

I send to you 2 photo of my screen. The number-10.jpg are the facts ordered in FTB The number-11.jpg are the facts, after publishing, not ordered in web

I must to send you my Gedcom files too?

Thanks

Alessandro
