Up until Aug 5 2009 my Smart Matches came in English which is great but the latest email dated Aug 12 2009 arrived in a different language (possibly Norwegian?). Why did it change? and how do I change it back? Thanks, Lee
Hey, thank you very much for the reply. The latest Smart Matches came in English again. Maybe I should stay away from my cousin's Norwegian site, who knows, maybe I changed the language there.
May be... Try visit both sites, and on both again change language of interface (twice?) to other lng and back to english. Next goto your profile, and change similarly (twice?) lng of bulletin to oher lng, save, and back to english. If at all this next 12 bulletins comes not in english, contact Support.

I am also researching my family from Norway. I just came across your post. I am from Australia and not sure if there is any connection but my grandfather was Gustav Georg Thaulow Knutsen. He had 12 brothers and sisters. One brother was called Johan Frederik Nils Andreas Knutsen - born 1867.

I have had problems with my smart matches for almost two months. It took customer serv ice two weeks and three inquiries, to respond to my intial inquiry. A guy named Jaiel responded, but appeared to not know how to correct the problem. I paid for premium service, and I get no service when I need it. They have since been ignoring me.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'd like to know.
I agree 100% with you. I am tired of emailing to the so called customer service and not getting a reply. Of course they want to know ALWAYS when I will upgrade!!!!!

I keep receivng messages about once every couple of weeks telling me that I have Smart Matches. When I clck on the "To view this match. click . . ." links, My Heritage takes me to a page that tells me "No Smart Matching™ results were found for [peron's name].
This happens over and over again. I have written to customer "service" but have never received an answer. It's a major reason I don't update my tree and don't recommend MyHeritage to others.
I have same problem too, with mailed found but non existent matches. Mail comes, matches positive exists (sure, i know it), but SmartMatch on web nor in FTB reports nothing.
Yes i have had and still do, have the problem of them not replying back. Since my laptop hard drive died and using my husband's computer while the laptop is getting fixed i can't enter any of my up-dates info on my tree ' Heritage', won't open for me to do so, i think it's due to the builder that i got to have. So with having to download it, but doing so i'll have to re-enter all my data in to a new project 'my tree'. It's a shame that i couldn't just transfer it over or the builder would kick in on my exsisting 'my tree' that i already have up and let me get into it.
