Yes, I'm pretty sure that previously when I performed a copy, a dialog popped up saying, "Do you also want to confirm?", along with the option to check the box that says "Don't ask me again."
I guess I can ask the question another way: when does the dialog box that says, "Do you also want to confirm?" usually appear?
I found some interesting: the following names don't provide a Smart Match though I think they should:
Rozália Gergely -> Rozál Gergely
Balázs Kovács -> Balázs Kovács R.
These two people are spouses and their children are already confirmed smart matches. As you can see their names differ a bit, but this should not prevent SmartMatching.
There are several reasons why those names are not providing a smart match.
One reason is if you are the site manager of the two websites in which the smart matches are found, it is important to know we do not match between two websites of the same site manager.
If you are not the site manager, it is very possible that the other member does not have their smart matches turned on. Also, if the other member is privatizing their tree, you will not recieve any indicaton of matches from them.

Where have all the these Trees gone? I had a ready-reference in MH menues to access all ten Trees of which I was a member and/or was the originator, this no longer exists so, I have to type each one in individually when needed! It was great for rapid cross-checks of both Tree and data now greatly missed. Any thoughts Folks?
* NB: Follow-up sees these Sites in my Favourites-Listing but what a tedious job to find and fix when the old MH Site had that instant key to same!
I do believe what you are looking for is your Sites. I show you are a member of 10 sites in total. You can view all of these sites by simply clicking uptop on the >account tab located on the top right of the page, than simply click on >My Sites from the drop down box.
From this page you may choose to view all of the sites you are a member of.
SmartMatch tells me that persons i my family tree matches persons in other online family trees. I can see that there are 100 family trees with about 50 matches in every three. That means 5 000 matches!!!! When I start to compare the matches I can see that at least 40 persones in every tree are THE SAME PERSONS!!! So If I want to confirm those 40 persons I have to do 4000 confirmations!!!!! Is there a way to confirm a person in ONE tree and have that person confirmed in ALL the other trees? What I mean is taht it weould be a lot easier and time saving to have to confirm 40 persons instead of 4000 persons.
Jepp I understand that, BUT if I ignore the persons I will still have a mesage of matches in the family trees in the future. So seems I'm up for 5000 clicks on the mouse button 5000 more to confirm the confirmation!!!
When i compare people in Smart Matches I can see names of people in BOLD text and some names in light grey! What is the diffrence? I'm new to this so please understand that I don't know everything.
Would you be able to send me a link of this issue in your site or take a screenshot of this for me? This will help me forward the problem to our development team for debugging. To take a screenshot, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard; it is the key labeled as “PrintScreen” or "PrtSc". This will copy an image of the MyHeritage screen to your clipboard. Once you have done this, click the Windows Start button in the bottom left corner and run MSPaint. It should be under All programs > Accessories > Paint. Once it's open, click Paste from the Edit menu, or simply press CTRL-V. Now you can save the screenshot as an image file and attach that image to an email and send it to me, or attach it here.
Please let me know if you encounter difficulty in taking the screenshot.
I've been using My Heritage for a few years using the smart research function. In the past when I saw the smart research results screen I could see matches where my ancestor was also on the family tree of another My Heritage member. This was very helpful. Recently when I do smart research I can't see matches to other peoples family trees. I miss this feature. Can anyone help. Am I doing something wrong, did I change a preference somewhere, or has My Heritage reduced their functionality?
I think you may be confusing Smart Matches and Smart Research which are two different features. Smart Research goes over all names in your tree and locates these names in hundreds of databases.
Smart Matches locates the names you have in your tree in other trees only in MyHeritage.
Since yersterday only an individual's names and dates (if pesent) show up in the "in my family tree" column.
How can i rectify this since it is invariably impossible to review two individuals correctly, especially in the absence of appropiate dates. If it can not be solved it would be impossible for me to continue partaking in the "Smart Match" function
