All SmartMatches of my family tree are lost since April 21st, 2013. I have now thousands of new matches pending. There seems to be no other option but to start all over again, which is a terrible amount of work. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
I lost my Smart matches too about a week ago. It's driving me crazy - my site was so active and now nothing. It happened while I was trying to 'Publish' some new info. Hopefully someone will read these messages and fix the problem.
I have also lost ALL of my smart matches. I am also not receiviing any new ones when I know another family member has the info and we should be matching up. I have the week off and had looked forward to researching, but looks like it won't be happening. Very frustrating.
Welcome to the club! I have lost my matches for the 5:th time in a year. Now MH tells me there are NO SmartMatches for me and I have been told so for the past week.
Eventually when I get some matches I will be told that I have 600 000 matches (my tree is 148 600 persons) and I have to do everything all over again, accept/deny matches and block at least 1000 trees I do NOT want to be matched against.

Every time you publish your Family Tree Builder (FTB) Tree it takes some time for all the Smart Matches to re appear and therefore I have pushed your queue to front in order for you to be able to see all your Matches as soon as possible.

thanks for your answer, I know all of that, the support tem has told me this at least 10 times, but nothing happens, Since Daniel from the support team changed the name of my tree, nothing hnappens and especiallly not after my upgrade to v 7.0. Yes PLEASE push my tree forward.

We are still investigating the smart matching issue, we are having some issues reproducing this issue and thus it's going a little bit slower. The matches that you had are gone, but not necessarily from any name changes.
Not sure why, but I have rec'd up to 8 duplicate matches from other site. Like confirming the same stuff over and over for the same people. 2 weeks ago I got 8 from one person, each one was the same, I got to the point I hit ignor tree, its very annoying.
I know--it's very annoying, but, I think, not myHeritage's fault. It must be people having the different trees for branches with the same names or they don't know to attach family members and so they have the same persons in the same tree multiple times.
I have one particular person who matches with my tree, and they have around eight separate trees. What I do now, since their trees have always been consistent in details, is to check the first one or two and then just confirm (or reject) all the others in the same way. Something I would not do if they were not so consistent. Geoff
