I have 139 people on Myheritage website. I wanto to export all these people information in a gedcom file on my computer so that I can manage it locally on my PC with a software like Family Tree Builder.
Instead when I export the gedcom file and import it on Family Tree Builder I just see 22 people! (instead of 139!)
I tend to put a lot of comments in the notes for individuals and I am uncomfortable having these all published. I would like to see a publishing option to "Do not include notes" much like what you now have for photos. In other words, "Publish all notes", Publish no notes, or Publish specific notes. Or is there a way to do this now without going through every single entry and checking "Private Note - do not publish to site". That would be excruciatingly painful to say the least. Please let me know. Thanks.
I have Social Security numbers listed as a "Fact Type" and wish to suppress them in any reports or charts. I have not found a way to do this, so am assuming it isn't currently possible. It would be helpful to have either a checkbox or a global command for suppressing such sensitive information, especially in this identity-theft crazy world!
Hello, my name is sky and I've got a question that needs to be answered and hopefully fixed in the next two days.
I was using myheritage.com for my family tree when I decided to deleat everything about my family and use it for my english project.
My english project is on Ancient Egypt and I am currently making a King Tutankhamun family tree, though I am having a major problem.
There was a lot in inbreeding in Ancient Egypt in the time of the pharaohs, and one of the pharaohs, named Ay, gets married to his grand-daughter, Ankhesenpaaten.
Now when I try to link them up as partners, it won't work for they are related in that way (grandfather-granddaughter).
So what I am asking is if the people running myheritage.com could PLEASE do something so I can link up the two people together. It would be really appretiated, expecially since this project is REALLY important.
