If you don't know the name of the partner, just delete them. For instance, if you have a man and add children, it automatically adds a "mother" with no name. You can delete the mother and she will disappear. If you are adding a partner, there is an option in the little window to indicate whether they were married, or just "partners". I don't think there is a way to mark someone as "never married".
We currently do not have this types of reports. Although thank you so much for the suggestions! This is highly appreciated. I will be sure to forward it to the appropriate department for consideration.
Please let me know if you have any other ideas as we do value such input from our users.
Ancestry Charts: Can you put an option in the Ancestry type Charts to choose to repeate all duplicate ancestors? Can you add, in those cases, an option to choose if we want the number of times that ancestor repeates in the chart?
Descendent Charts: If someone has 2 or more mariages, this chart does no put the mariages in chronologic order (in the Close Family Charts it does it correctly). Can you change this odd behavior in the Descendent Charts?
If someone has, for example, 20 children, the family chart generated in the complete Report does not show all children and shows a emply box at the end. Can you correct this bug?
Thank you so much for your feedback and sugestions.
Regarding yor second and third observations: 2) "If someone has 2 or more mariages, this chart does no put the mariages in chronologic order " and 3) "If someone has, for example, 20 children, the family chart generated in the complete report does not show all children and shows a emply box at the end"
I have been trying to reproduce this bugs without success. The charts include wifes in the correct order and all the children are included.
Any chance on a mobile web version of MyHeritage site???
There are plenty on us that don't have Apple or Android phones.
Would have been better than making 'apps' because everyone could have accessed it.
I would also like to add to this post, I am a MyHeritage Premium member and I have a Kindle Fire and would like to have an app that I could use to add to or edit my trees from my Kindle, Anything on the horizon?
I realize importing the face tags is not easy, but it seems there should be an option to make use of the caption/title/description fields that are stored in the photos themselves with programs like Picasa and Photoshop Elements. Some of us actually identify people in the photos with a list of names (left to right typically) of people in the file. This would make it a lot easier for those of us who spend days re-tagging faces in the uploaded photos and it would provide nice captions as well.
I love using the Forums, but it took me quite a while to find the link initially. Please make it more obvious by moving it from the bottom in the "fine print" as either a separate tab, or under the "Community" tab. Thank you!
We're probably going to add a print feature for the Timebook (on the Events page of your family site) for Premium Plus users at some point in the future. If you haven't tried out the Timebook yet, I highly recommend.
Even if you're not a Premium or Premium member you can still view the Timebook. It's really nice.
I have had a look at the Timebook. I agree it is a great feture. It would be nice to have this feature also added to the Family Tree Builder Program as a report.
Also I would be nice to be able to print a photo album for just the one person, and have all the photos attached to that person printed only and have it available on the Family Tree Builder Program as a report.
It would also be nice to be able when printing out a photo to be able print with it the location of who is in the photo.
I don't know if anyone is having this same problem. When I investigate a someone else's family page that turns out to be private, I can't go back when hit the back button, I'm stuck. I have to start all over from my Family page. IMO if a site is private, and we're not a member of it, the software shouldn't let us go to the site.
