It works for me. I am just another member, so I don't know what else to tell you. One other thought--did you re-invite from your address book with the old wrong address or manually with the correct new address?
Since we want to all edit our tree, I use a gedcom upload to keep the tree updated, but when people add names, dates, then I download from the site and compare with my master database, make the changes and then re-upload.
I was shocked when I exported a gedcom of my current family tree and found that all the deathdates were missing! So if anyone changed a deathdate, that information is no longer there.
Exporting the gedcom is also a good way to back up, but you are charging $3/month to "backup", which is really a normal part of any webhosting service, but does this mean I have to pay to get an accurate backup or download of my gedcom?
Why isn't the gedcom export from the site (no, not export of original gedcom) preserving all the deathdates?
I also tried to import the exported Gedcom into Family Tree Builder, a new project and it crashed the program--each and every time--I have a screen capture here. So I have no way to export my entire MyHeritage site family tree exactly as it exists on the site.
This happens with every single gedcom export from every tree I have popsted on all of my 7 (soon to be 8) sites for which I am a Site Manager.
So, the latest one I exported, email sent me a link to that export and I would gladly send you that link in an email. I do not have a ticket number as noone has responded to me from support on this issue.
I will reply to another of your emails on a different issue and put in the heading Gedcom Export loses Deathdates importing into RootsMagic.
ps Using the same link I did with the same gedcom would be a better test in case it is the gedcom export process or something that is causing the problem.
Aside from the problem of posting messages, which I temporarily solved by creating another member login for myself. Now, when I added posts to a particular board, most of the other postings disappeared. The Board summary shows 11 postings for that board, but when I click on it to view a list of the postings in short form, I only see 2. If I click View All, I can see all 11, but they are all merged together and don't show the other 9 separately.
So, I have had to now stop posting messages (I am migrating over from an old MyFamily.com site) completely.
This is one of the most useful feature of this site and now at a standstill.
I've used my message boards in anger for the first time tonight and exactly this problem has happened. Also, it seems to top out on the number of posts and now keeps returning me to the home oage without posting. I am uploading threads from my old MSN group (five years' worth from 2002).
For the past several days, I have not been able to add messages to the message boards in our brand new Premium Plus site--it works for awhile, then jumps me back to the Main page and and does not post the message. This is only happening on this Premium Plus site and not on the other 5 sites (1 is Premium).
I have tried to contact MyHeritage support both by the contact form on the site and by replying to earlier emails from support and am getting no response whatsoever from any support.
We were promised the Premium Plus site would get priority support, but we are getting NO support, so now I am trying to contact the intial person who took our order to upgrade to Premium Plus site--I was told to send email to Yakir and ask Stephen to call and last week he did and we ordered 5 years of Premium Plus Site.
But now our members are very worried as we cannot get the support and the site is not working and we may have to cancel the order.
How can we do that?
We are really trying to make this work, but I also read that Message Board messages are not sent out in the Weekly Newsletter so that is a bit worrying!

I have had other members log in and they can post to this site. I can post to other sites, but for some reason I cannot post to this new Premium Plus site. I use Firefox 3.6.8. I am going to try to log in as a regular member (I am Site Admin).
Thank you for your response. I did try clearing cookies, cache, history, etc, restarting browser, restarting computer. I will start out with the ability to post messages (under my Site Manager login), but after a period of time, it starts refusing to post the message after clicking "send" and jumps me back to the Main Screen--I try and try and try and same problem. I then sign out and sign in as a "test" member and am able to post messages.
All I can send is a screen shot of the last page where I click "send" because it then jumps back to Main page, so not really any screen shot.
So, as it is sporadic--but consistent--every day it has been happening--I hope someone could jump in at the time it goes down and then reproduce the problem.
Thanks for following up. It would happen after I had posted several topics (I was migrating all my old messages from MyFamily.com website we had had since 1999, so lots of posts) in a row, so maybe can't reproduce unless I' ve added several topics.
Is there a time limit or message limit for postings?
