There are three different types of members for a family site. The site manager that is the creator of the site. This Site Manager has the most privileges, and can demote other site managers. You can also have other site managers on your site(if you promote them), who can change settings of the site.
To “promote” a member of your family site to Site Manager status if you would like help in managing the site: The user must first be a member of your site! You must be logged in as the Site Manager of your site. Go to the Site Members page and click on the person’s name to view their profile. On the left, click on “Promote to Site Manager”. Click “Yes” to approve.
Regular invited members of your site can see your family tree. Regarding editing privileges, if you build your family tree online, the default option is the tree (and other content) can be edited by the Site Manager as well as all site members.
If you use our family tree software to build your tree the default option is the tree cannot be edited online, but content can still be added to the family site by site members.
If you prefer to limit members’ ability to add information to the family tree or content to the family site, follow the steps below: Log into your family site. Click on Settings > Privacy. Click on the “Members” tab. Select NO for “Can members edit the family tree?” to prevent members from editing the family tree. Select NO for “Can members post content on the site?” to prevent members from adding photos and other content to the family site. Click the Save button to save changes.
Please note that this is an all-or-nothing setting. At this point in time, you cannot choose to select certain people that can see but not edit your tree.
If an & (ampersand) is included in keywords, when the keywords are edited again "amp;" is added after the ampersand, ie & by the program which makes the edit useless and you have to go through the whole of the keywords again.
I get around this at the moment by keeping all the keywords in the notes as well so if I edit the keywords I edit the notes then copy and paste.
the first list is correct, the second list is after returning to the photo to edit. (the program puts them in alphabetical order, that is why they are in a different order)

I'm looking for people who have experience with uploading video files, and who knows how to keep the quality of the file uploded.
My experience is that MyHeritage page automatically changes the various sizes of the file by 90%. Which of course results in visible lower quality! Which in turn makes it less likely to upload.
Unfortunately, it also put a limit on the maximum 50MB for upload from MyHeritage, which in my opinion is ridiculous low.
Do you have any experience with uploading files and keeping the quality, please write in this topic, or send me an e-mail.
I have gedcom file all Family members name with arabic and it's working Fine in my laptop , but when i uploaded to site Family tree all name become like ( عثمان )
Pleasereset which evens are imported from your family tree. To do so, please go to Settings > Calendar, and then uncheck the option to import events from the calendar. Save your settings. Then recheck the option, and save your settings again.
there is a problem with the messaging system, when I send a massage and it contains the symbol for "and" the rest of the message dissapears and anything typed after it has gone when the message is sent. I first noticed when I was sending links and only half the link was sent and now I have noticed the "and" symbol so it may be other things as well.

The photo search "within Search Results" Does not work. (not for me anyway)
I shall Explain. when you search "photos & videos" "Find" say "bloggs"
20 results come up, You then want to find any photos for "Joe" so you select "Within Search Results" and enter "Joe" and click search. you then get all photos with "Joe Whatever" and the search feature has returned to "New search" (it should stay on "within search result") and you should only have a result from the original 20 not all the photos on the site.
If you do the same thing on the search for people in "Family Tree Individuals" and use the "within Search" feature it works correctly.
I don't think there is online. That is something people keep asking about, but I have no reason to think it's in the works. Apparently you can merge in the FTB, but I haven't tried it.
