I am facing an issue with the "Web Content" section. To describe ,
I am able to add a URL by specifying the type ( Link / You Tube / HTML snippet etc ) in a profile.
After saving, when i open it up again & try to make any changes ( to the URL itself or even to the description) , i get an error message stating " Illegal HTML Snippet ) and i am not able to do ANY changes, even though it's not a HTML snippet
Only way out is to delete it & then add a new URL.
Thanks for the mail. But kindly read my problem description that i have listed in my post. The issue is not that i do not know how to add web content, but that AFTER adding web content , i am not able to modify it , as i get an error (" Illegal HTML Snippet" as mentioned in my original post ) which prevents me from making any changes unless i completely delete that web content.
Pls let me know when this can be fixed as it renders that section pretty useless. Have attached the screenshot as well.
This did not work either. Notes did work in a 6 series. I have notes from there that show up. When you try to edit that note though and the note window comes up, there is not any note information to edit.

This morning I tried to add to notes on web but got a missing page when I hit enter. Tried Save and continue, Save and close. Alll the same result. Went back and no note updated. Tried to add new note - same process. It brought second note window, let me enter but would not save.
On the PC side, I can bring up note window but it will not allow me to enter any information.
PS- I keep getting a security certificate error on your website. Could that be the issue?
Changing the GUI to japanese works perfectly, so does entering data in japanese. But Charts and Reports only display "." (dots) instead of the entered japanese characters. Changing the Report fonts to jap fonts doesn't help, even though "サンプル" (Sample) is displayed correctly in that dialog. ... this problem makes the software almost useless to japanese (all Asian?) families. Platform: Windows 7 x64

How do I correct an error in someone else's tree? I've gotten several matches in which it's stated that I died in 1966. In fact, it was my father who died then, and not me -- 47 years later, I'm very much alive! What's the procedure in a situation like this?
It depends on whether the other user is still active, in which case you could simply send a message via myheritage mail.
BUT if the user is now unfinancial and no longer active- then you have stumbled on one of myheritage's insumountable issues.
The error of data CANNOT be corrected- by anyone other that the originator. If you cant contact hime then its too bad.
The problem THEN gets worse becuase other users see the errant data, and as it remains uncorrected it soon becomes substantialted by volume matching- ie several users match to it therfore it MUST be correct.
The mere fact that it is in error and has been identified as error- is lost and once again truth and facts are overwhelemed by myheritage and its inabilty to correct and or offer a real soultion. Good Luck.
