My name is Darren and I have recently launched a new website that I hope provides a service that many of you may find useful.

Many people often spend years and years building up an archive of photographs and information of their ancestors. With computers offering a convenient resource to store and log all of your information that you have gathered over the years. It's a great tool for organizing and planning your family tree.

The most popular option is to use a family tree design package, with so many products with a bit of time and practice you can begin the design stage of your family tree. However these programs do have their limitations and won't always give you exactly what you want, they tend to lack that creative spark that can often be the element that brings your family tree to life.

What I do is create you a bespoke design based around the layout of your ancestors. I will plan and add any information you have gathered over the past and combine it with some creative flair to produce a wonderful design that once completed you can hang on the wall and have a personal piece of original artwork based on your ancestors.

All of my designs are totally original and can be designed to reflect any theme you wish, if your family has a military background then the design can reflect this. I'm able to add full colour images and documents to the layout and I finish it off with some classy design touches to add that finishing touch to your layout.

I was told a while back that once a member is setup that only that member can change their own profile.  The email account becomes part of their profile.    

I had setup members using out-dated email addresses and later we are having issues with those members having access   I was told the only way was to delete those members and re-add with the correct email address.

 As a site manager.... we still have limited powers!   We can't change everything.

I told them, I thought this was a dumb.  I'm hoping more people complain about this.

I entered the wrong e-mail address for a family member.  I have deleted and then added this person.  This family member still exists with the wrong e-mail address in the "invite members" list!

Argghhhhhh,  These kinds of problems are irritating.  

Is there not a code available for the look alike meter?  I want to post it to MySpace and Cafemom, but it didn't work to try to click the little MySpace logo.  It just saved them to my profile.  I can't find a code to do it manually....

Please help!

I believe I have the answer to your question.  Click on the "Setting" tab.  On that page you will find the following.....   At the top is the "title" you gave your website.  You can change it there if you misspelled you family name.  Also at the bottom you will find: "Pick a unique address for your site".  To the right of "address" is the name you used for your myHeritage website.  If you misspelled your family name there you can change it as well. 

I believe this only available to the site managers of your website.

I had the same problem.   The old name is still showing up in his profile.  Even though you changed his name on the tree.  They don't sync.   Don't ask me why...... ??   I hope they fix it!

The only way is to have that member login and change his profile name.

Or...... you can delete that member and re-add him with the correct info. in like I had to.
