Is there not a code available for the look alike meter? I want to post it to MySpace and Cafemom, but it didn't work to try to click the little MySpace logo. It just saved them to my profile. I can't find a code to do it manually....
I believe I have the answer to your question. Click on the "Setting" tab. On that page you will find the following..... At the top is the "title" you gave your website. You can change it there if you misspelled you family name. Also at the bottom you will find: "Pick a unique address for your site". To the right of "address" is the name you used for your myHeritage website. If you misspelled your family name there you can change it as well.
I believe this only available to the site managers of your website.

Hi, I had my aunt as a member of my site, and I had it allowed so that she could post pictures to our tree, but she went in there and kept deleting stuff, so I deleted her as a member of my site, she somehow has my brother's name as his first and middle name, I never entered his middle name, it shows up right on the tree, but any notifications show up wrong. Is there any way to change what she did, that she shouldn't have been able to do in the first place?
I had the same problem. The old name is still showing up in his profile. Even though you changed his name on the tree. They don't sync. Don't ask me why...... ?? I hope they fix it!
The only way is to have that member login and change his profile name.
Or...... you can delete that member and re-add him with the correct info. in like I had to.
How do youy delete a person?I have a few names that were not family members after all.I removed them from my home builder part but can't get them off my on line site.Other wise this is an awesome program!!!!! Moonshadows

Last night my newly found cousin in France found himself in my inbox on my family website! I am in New Zealand! He was not yet a member of my site but even if he was, he should not have found himself in my inbox. He did not have my login details. He was very embarassed.
Also yesterday another cousin was uploading photo's to my site and over half of them are listed as me having uploaded them. He somehow ended up in my profile too!
I found myself in my sister's profile this morning after clicking on a link in an email. I could have changed anything she had written in her profile!
My settings as the site manager are not working. Anyone can invite anyone to join even though this isn't ticked.
So, I ask, what is going on? How can different people get right into your profile without logging in as you and from different parts of the world? This is quite disturbing.
I am having problems trying to trace the date and birthof my grandfather, Wheppton Homer Hunt. According to his marriage, deat certificates and both 1910 and 1911 censuses, he was born in 1877 in Warrington, Lancashire, England, and his fatgher's name was Thomas Hunt, mother was Elizabetha. However, nothing turns up on the birth documents. Can anyone please give me any ideas how to further my search? I have contacted Warrington Registration Office, only to be told that there is no Wheppton Homer Hunt born in 11877 in Warrington.
He may have been registered under a different first name, this happens a lot. Have you found his siblings birth entries? This can be a good clue too. Maybe he wasn't born in Warrington. Try the Rootsweb site FreeBMD (google it) and search for him without using a place of birth. Also try different spelling of his first name.
I didn't decided yet if I want to subscribe to a premium account.
1- In my current free account , althought I have deleted all photos, at each tree/photos deletion I have less and lesser storage space... Now I have 30MB ... Can anybody free, please, only the storage related to the tree and uploaded photos ( uploaded by software)
2-. I find also many problems that makes me a bit afraid, when I possibly upgrade to the account, in terms of Database management once the online information is updated and all my members start to update info..
I have a Premium account and my storage is wrong also. With all data removed the site still said I had used 400MB. I think they need to work on their database administration or provide a facility to allow users to manage their own databases.
Is there a troubleshooting forum? I cannot get the tree to save on my PC. I can only save it by exporting a GEDCOM file to my website and uploading. I also cannot get it to import pictures. I beleive there is a coorelation. Any suggestions?
I seem to have gotten it working now. I was using WIndows Vista. I decided to install the program on my laptop which has Windows XP. Its working fine on that computer. It could be that the program is not compatible with Vista. It would not let me save my work, upload pictures, or publish to a website. On the XP it does all that fine.
