republished original tree with a different name, which I saved, associated with original person then deleted the tree. it has not done the same by making her my sister but is now asking to associate with tree which it should have done in the first place.
Jan has now reassociated itself as my sister jane, I will leave it for you to look at again.
Jan has become jane she is not a member of my family as I put a line in which was wrong, she was invited to join as in the tree but since deletion of that line she keeps stealing my sisters identity (not on pupose) I could delete her but I dont want to. I could create a person for her to be but that would not be correct. The reason I deleted her line of about 30 people was because it was interfereing with the stats that we now have.
I am a premium member with two family trees, one for my mother's family and one for my father's. I've uploaded a number of photos and documents to both trees. I did this separately to the appropriate tree. However, visitors to one of my trees (example: my dad's brother) see photos from his family tree *and* from my mother's family tree. How do I separate these? By the way, I'll need step-by-step instructions. That's assuming I can even figure out how to get back to the forum page to find my post and any responses it generates. I too had the same problem,but solved it by clicking on the Publishing Tab on heritage builder,and changing what was published to each site.info on this is contained in the help pages under Publishing.
How do I delete the duplicate persons? After merging two gedcom files in family tree builder I ended up with quite a few duplicate names and I just can't seem to figure out how to fix this. Dose anyone know how to fix it please.
I have created a new message in the message board. I want to send a notification to all my family members to have a look at this. Does Message board posts get sent as part of Weekly Notification to all members ?
If not may be there is another way of send these notification - would like to know how.
Basically I'm writing some anecdotes collected from our grandfather and want this to reach out to all the family.
I have recently deleted my online family tree and all photos in order to reload from scratch. My online storage amount is being incorrectly reported by AT LEAST double now. Even after I had deleted EVERYTHING, my usage was being reported at 103.6mb.
