We have not received the weekly newsletter notification digest since Sept 3. I personally have checked spam folder and made sure the email address was on the white list.
We were getting the weekly newsletter digests just fine until now--Sept 3 is more than 14 days and it is supposed to be every 7 days.
I emailed our members and found they are not getting the weekly emails either and they checked the Settings/My Preferences to make sure they had the box checked off to receive weekly newsletters.
We have had a lot of difficulties on our Premium Plus site lately with other problems, but this is probably the most serious at the moment.
It was happening on the Lamson Lampson Lambson Surname Research site, but I did receive a weekly newsletter today, but still missing Sept 11's, as were several other members. Hopefully they all received the Sept 19th edition and have asked them to post feedback if they did not. I was trying to see if it was a certain email domain or what.
But, we did get the monthly newsletter today for that site, so will be watching in the weeks ahead to see if it skips weeks again.
When I originally site up my tree I must have inadvertently used my grandfather as the main person/site manager. Now everyones status is compared to him ie I'm the granddaughter. It also shows all emails coming from him and he's been dead for 30 years. Spooky....
I've tried adding myself as a site manager but it doesnt change.
Yes, it's fixable. Go to 'Settings', then 'Home Page' then 'Other', and at the bottom you can type in the name of the person that you want to be the Main Person.
No, you can definitely change it, because I too chose the wrong person originally. The change may have to be made in the Tree Builder rather than the uploaded site.
Tree Builder is the 'source file'. It's the one that's stored on your computer, and when you've added names and dates etc, you 'publish it' to the Internet.
Go to your 'Home Person', click 'Edit', and then highlight 'Relation' from the drop-down list, and there you can set whomever you wish to be the 'Home Person' of you Family Tree.
I can't seen to get any response from MyHeritage about a problem I an experencing with Family tree maker.. I get no response from my emails.
My problem is with photos. Lately when I put a photo on a person's "card" the same photo shows up on several, unrelated individual's cards. My grandmother's photo shows on my granddaughter's card, and on several other people's cards, for example.The photo is not associated with these people, and is not in the list of photos under their name.
Thois is very annoying, and difficult to clear up. The only solution I have found is to remove the original photo.
So, I have two questions.
Is there any way to actually TALK to some one at MyHeritage to sole this problem?

I see that you are managing several family sites. Can you specify exactly what family site had the problem?
Do you still have the problem or did it go away once you deleted the original photo? I am asking because if the problem still persists, it will be easier for us to understand the nature of the issue.
Did you associate this photo with a person in your family tree? You wrote that it was a photo of your grandmother, but did you associate her with the photo by tagging her, or by uploading that photo from the tree after selecting her card?
I am trying to figure out how this photo got uploaded so it would help me understand why it got associated with your granddaughter by mistake.

If you're using the family tree builder; right click on the person you want to set as the home person. Go down to the 'relation' tab. The first option is 'set (blank) as home person'
