Lars, thank you for pointing out how to get a relationship between two specific people in FTB. I had forgotten about this functionality, because I found it less useful than the one online.
The online relationship calculator was ideal because it showed the relationship in a graphical form. I could print the report and show it to someone who was not used to genealogies. And it was useful for me, too, because I could see the relationship instantly. It was the most useful report available on the online system.
The decision to remove the report completely from the product seems utterly bone-headed, to speak frankly. Imagine if Microsoft decided to remove, oh, say the Word Count feature, because they thought not many people were using it. They'd have a revolution on their hands!
How do I can rotate a family tree that ancestry are at the bottom of the chart and children are at the top of the tree?
At the moment the vertical positioning of the family tree gives the chart where children are at the bottom and ancestries are at the top. Semantically it is not correct, since tree grows up, i.e. parents are roots and children are leafs.
